What Have the Romans Ever Done For Us?

Glen Holmes, Senior Product Manager of Workday

Product Management is a relatively nascent discipline, particularly in software. Working in technology we love to look at future trends in markets and technology. But what can history teach us about Product Management, and ultimately help us to avoid the same mistakes? What can the conquistadors tell us about entering new markets? What can we learn from a 17th-century hosier? This talk is an irreverent, left-field but practical analysis of how we, as product managers, can learn and improve from history.
